[SUB-01] Ongoing regulatory monitoring

Regulatory Watch

Regulatory monitoring tailored to your product categories, with qualified alerts and impact analysis on your active portfolio, not generic newsletters. Monthly subscription, reserved for clients with an active engagement with the practice.

What it covers

The service monitors EUR-Lex, the Spanish Official Gazette (BOE) and the publications of the Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN) using the keywords and product categories of the client's own portfolio, not a generic sweep of the sector. When a development relevant to that portfolio arises, an impact note is delivered within 48 hours, assessing what changes in practice and which transition period applies. The subscription also includes a quarterly meeting to review the regulatory status of the portfolio together.

What it does not include

It does not include implementing the measures a regulatory development may require (relabelling, updating dossiers, changing claims), which are quoted separately once the impact has been identified. Nor does it replace assistance in a sanctioning procedure already under way, or a one-off opinion on a question not arising from a monitoring alert. It is not a general legislative newsletter: only what affects the product categories covered is followed.

Access conditions

The service is reserved for clients whose product portfolio is already known to the practice, usually through a previous or current engagement (novel food status, claims review, labelling review or another service in this catalogue). That portfolio is what makes it possible to define the keywords and categories to be monitored; without it, monitoring cannot be calibrated precisely. The fee depends on the breadth of the portfolio and is not published as a fixed figure: it is set in the initial onboarding conversation.

Process

An initial session sets the product categories, sources and keywords to be monitored, as well as the channel for delivering impact notes. From then on, the monthly monitoring cycle runs continuously, with the quarterly meeting as the point at which the scope is reviewed and adjusted if the client's portfolio changes.

When this is not the right service

If the need is a one-off question rather than ongoing monitoring, the corresponding transactional service resolves it more economically. If the practice has not yet analysed the company's portfolio, it is best to start with one of the transactional services before subscribing.
